The Main Village Hall, recently re-furbished, is a multipurpose room which can accommodate a variety of activities. Used most weekday mornings by the playgroup, it is available for afternoon and evening events during the week and functions at weekends.

Typical functions it can handle well include:

  • Wedding receptions with seating for up to 110
  • Parties for up to 120 people - Christenings, Children's Parties, 25th Weddings
  • Seminars and Conferences (a total of three rooms can be booked providing a main conference room and two smaller syndicate rooms)
  • Public meetings (AGMs, Coffee mornings, Road shows, Polling day etc)
  • Small trade exhibitions
  • Drama and Concert performances
  •  Short Tennis
  • Indoor games - ideal for bowls, children's parties etc
Self contained kitchen adjacent with up to 120 places settings of crockery & cutlery
Stage suitable for bands, discos, small dramatic productions, presentations
PA system available by arrangement

Catering can be provided by your own caterers or we can recommended local caterers - a licensed bar can be arranged

Car parking for up to 70 cars in the grounds, plus about 30 in Browns Lane

The main hall set up for a wedding breakfast - the stage is clearly visible & large French windows give access to the lovely grounds immediately outside (recently refurbished it looks even better now!)

Club Room - Upper Hall

Recently rebuilt following a fire, the smaller informal rugby club room is ideal for parties or smaller meetings - with its own sports bar and professional quality kitchen facilities. This room can be booked separately or in conjunction with the main hall. It can accommodate up to 80 people.

With notice the bar can be opened, Catering can be provided by your own caterers or we can recommended local caterers and the booking secretary can often give advice on entertainment including bands, children's entertainers and discos. A full high quality audio system is installed which can be used by arrangement - bring your own CDs.
